Head Girl Anna left Queen’s in 2004 and studied Architecture at the University of Sheffield. She is now living in New York.
When entering Sixth Form Anna was unsure of a career path but was always certain travelling would be involved, so she opted to study a variety of A-level subjects - Art, Biology, Geography and Economics.
Apart from the academic standing Queen's gave Anna, she believes the confidence the culture of the school nurtured in her has had a huge part to play in her career to date.
Since leaving Queen's Anna has travelled a lot, first taking a gap year teaching in India. After graduating she joined the Royal Air Force as an Officer and travelled extensively, spending time in the US and Middle East while completing her postgraduate work in Warfare Studies and Terrorism at King's College, London. After four years of military service Anna secured a role in Cybersecurity in the Advisory
practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, London. Since then she has worked in Colorado, Marseille, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
Throughout her career in PwC she has been lucky to experience a variety of roles, all with the common thread of creativity and consumer-centric understanding. Passionate about developing people and helping shape organisations, she has been afforded the opportunity to work across the globe, helping clients solve important problems. Anna firmly believes that the confidence, desire to develop and succeed, and zest for life that Queen's nurtured in her has propelled her in her career.
