There is plenty of excitement in the music department as our Chamber Choir prepares to perform with the UK's favourite opera duo, Belle Voci this month.
The girls are taking part in the Christmas concert at Chester Town Hall on Saturday 7 December with alumna and one half of the astonishing opera duo Sophie Rohan, performing well-loved Christmas songs and festive favourites. Emily Burnette is an alumna of Abbey Gate College whose choir will also be performing.
Belle Voci burst onto the scenes following their success on The Voice UK 2018, and are returning to their hometown as part of their Christmas Tour.
Following their success on The Voice, where they reached the Live Final and performed live to millions on national TV, Emily & Sophie have performed live on stage with tenor extraordinaire Alfie Boe OBE, released their second full album and have sung the National Anthem Live at Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup Final.
