Superstar Sports Challenges Young Athletes

Energy, teamwork and friendly competition at our Superstar Sports Saturday Series event

Our latest Saturday Series event, Superstar Sports, welcomed Year 4 and 5 girls from a range of local primary schools to The Queen’s Senior School for a high-energy morning of sport, teamwork and challenge.

Designed to build confidence, coordination and collaboration, the event gave pupils the chance to try a variety of fast-paced and exciting sporting activities led by our experienced staff. Across the morning, girls threw themselves into the action, supported by new friends and encouraged to push their skills.

In the Rally & Smash Challenge, girls grabbed a racket and took on fast-paced tennis-inspired games that focused on coordination, accuracy and friendly competition. The Ultimate Astro Escape saw teams work together to solve clues and complete a series of physical and mental challenges across the Astro, including laser dodging, “the floor is lava” tasks and team challenges, with each success unlocking a letter in their final code. In the Ninja Warrior Showdown, pupils tackled two exciting obstacle courses, using speed, strength and resilience to overcome a variety of physical challenges as they raced to complete the course like true ninjas.

Superstar Sports forms part of our Saturday Series programme, a two-year initiative designed to support a smooth and exciting transition from primary school to The Queen’s Senior School. Through engaging, hands-on events, pupils build friendships, experience new challenges and become familiar with the school in a welcoming and supportive setting.
