Queen’s proudly hosted its annual Sports Awards Dinner recently, celebrating the dedication, talent, and achievements of our pupils.
We were honoured to welcome former England Lioness Jess Clarke, who delivered an inspiring keynote on her journey into professional sport, the challenges she overcame, and the resilience that shaped her career. Her story resonated deeply with pupils and parents alike.
We also welcomed back alumna Louise Kiely, who reflected on her sporting journey during her time at Queen’s and how it laid the foundation for her international success in lacrosse and her continued active lifestyle.
The evening celebrated a wide range of accomplishments — from outstanding performances and remarkable personal progress to the introduction of our new Lifetime Achievement Award. This special recognition was awarded to Year 13 students Alexa, Ruby, Manon, and Abi for their unwavering commitment to school sport.
A standout feature of the evening was the leadership shown by our Year 12 students. From our Head Girls’ Team compering the event, to the Sports Leaders Team managing logistics and presenting awards, and Anisha in Year 12 capturing the night as our photographer — their enthusiasm and professionalism were truly inspiring. It was a memorable evening that not only honoured sporting excellence but also highlighted the strong sense of community and teamwork that defines Queen’s Sport.
