Trips and visits

Enriched learning

A wide variety of academic clubs, competitions and trips are organised through the departments to enrich curriculum learning outside the classroom. Educational trips take place every week to theatres, museums and both local and regional sites of interest.

The breadth and variety of trips are incredibly wide, and the opportunities given to girls to mix with boys and girls from other schools and organisations is immensely valuable.

Trips abroad to locations such as China, Africa, America, Latin America and Europe also take place several times a year. These trips enrich the girls' learning and allow them to meet people from a number of different cultures, thereby broadening their knowledge and understanding of the world.

This focus on developing our pupils through a wealth of opportunities enables not just the early identification of talent and the development of highly able students but also helps all students to grow and to develop.
