Enrichment

Education is about a lot more than simply those things which happens in the classroom. It is about developing the whole child, discovering what really excites them and exploring where their talents lie. A diverse range of clubs and societies, day and residential trips provide Queen's pupils with a vast array of opportunities.
They include sports such as hockey, gymnastics, lacrosse, tennis, rounders and netball as well as less traditional active pursuits such as sailing, rowing, fencing, dance and yoga, t’ai chi and pilates.
There are music clubs for those who play instruments including orchestras, jazz bands and a variety of small ensembles, and for those who love to sing there are three choirs including high level choral singing in our Chamber choir. There are opportunities to perform vocally and instrumentally in a variety of ensembles, groups and bands and at our annual music festival.
We have theatre groups, opportunities to perform in Cabaret, the Summer Music Concert and, of course, the school production. Many of our girls choose to take LAMDA and ABRSM qualifications and we have an excellent rate of success.
There are also all sorts of academic and cultural pursuits in the enrichment timetable for the girls to explore and a full list can be seen in the carousel showing which activities take place at across the year.
