We were delighted to welcome alumna and medical student Eleanor Gill to Queen’s to deliver a presentation to our future medics from Years 10 to 13 as part of our Alumna Lunch programme.
Eleanor provided interview advice and a Q&A session for our current medical applicants in our dedicated Careers Library, to prepare them for their upcoming interviews. Then it was ‘back to school’ for Eleanor in one of our biology labs, where she took front stage from the teacher’s side of the desk!
It was wonderful to see how well Eleanor has settled into university life, and she answered many of the girls’ questions on how she chose to study at King’s College London, and what being a student in London is like.
Eleanor will continue to offer support and guidance as part of our University Preparation careers sessions, running throughout the year by our Head of Careers Mrs Dawson and our Sixth Form team.
