Pupils, parents and alumnae enjoyed another warming annual Commemoration at Chester Cathedral on Friday 1st May.

Along with some rousing hymns, prayers and poems from the Lower School, we were given a reminder of just what the school means to those connected to it - alumna Mrs Susan Elphick MBE spoke about her experiences at Queen's from 65 years ago, retiring physics teacher Mrs Pam Steventon spoke warmly from a staff perspective about the family feel of the school and Dr Stephanie Jenkins, a Year 13 parent, looked back at how her preconceptions about girls' schools had been turned on their head by the unique atmosphere that exists here.

Thanks to all those parents that came along.
