34 girls from our partner school, Maria Ward Schule in Bamberg, Bavaria recently visited Queen's with their teachers for a taste of school life in England.

They were given a guided tour by our Year 7s, chatted about the differences in the school systems in Germany and England over biscuits, had an English lesson with Mr O'Meara and Mr Wilson and enjoyed sports with Mrs Moore in our new gym.

The highlight of the day was, however, the school lunch, which was greatly appreciated.

The Germans were impressed with how friendly our Year 7s were, how we all had iPads in class and one girl even wished that she could wear a uniform every day so she didn't have to decide what to wear each morning!
