Training for Q2Q3, this year's epic charity bike ride, started in earnest this half term.

Q2Q3 riders from Year 11 and staff braved rain, wind, nettles and the odd puncture, in a 20 mile cycle from school into our local North Wales countryside. This was the first time that Team Q2Q3 had set out together to do some serious mileage having previously completed cycling proficiency training on the roads of Chester. During the actual event in July 2015, Team Q2Q3 will cycle from Chester to London across 6 days covering distances of around 40 miles a day. Everyone performed very well on the training ride despite the changeable weather conditions. This taste of life on the open road has left everyone excited about the challenge ahead.
