We received some superb news this week when the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) contacted us to let us know that one of our Cyberfirst teams had made the final of the competition.
QBit, made up of Katelyn, Imogen, Polly and Ellen in Year 10 were placed in the top ten teams out of more than 2,000.
Four areas of competence were tested during the competition: networking, logic and coding, encryption, and cyber security. All involved finding information that had been disguised or protected in some manner.
The tasks were all completed online over the week from Feb 27 - Mar 06. The team will be going down to London later this month, visiting 10 Downing Street and competing at a secret location to be revealed on the day. Good luck girls!
