Our U14 and U16 hockey teams played in the Cheshire County Finals last weekend after qualifying earlier in the season.
The U16 team had an exceptional morning, winning all their matches and being crowned County Champions!
The U14 team won their match against King's 3-0, drew V Wilmslow 0-0 and narrowly lost to The Grange School. This placed them second overall! Tremendous achievement girls, well done!

Ellie, Maddie and Lavinia represented the school at a County show jumping event last weekend and all three jumped clear to claim second place overall in the 70cm Team event.
As well as riding as a team, the riders were also competing as individuals and Lavinia had a particularly successful day with her horse Penny, coming second in both of the classes that she entered.
In the 80cm class, her second place earned her qualification for a National event taking place in April. Well done girls!

Our Year 8 team travelled to Ellesmere Port to compete in the Cheshire Sportshall Athletics Final involving eight county districts. Our girls were representing Chester, having qualified in January. A very close competition, with just four points separating the top three schools - Sandbach won with 209, Poynton came second with 208 and The Queen's team were third with 206 points. Congratulations to all the girls involved!
