Our Under 15 Indoor Hockey Team are Chester and District Champions after winning the tournament. Congratulations to Cara, Bethany, Felicity, Mica, Lowri, Esther and Jasmine!

Our Year 7 football team went to Northwich to represent Chester and District in the Cheshire County indoor 5 a side football tournament.
In a highly competitive series of matches they beat Whitby High (2-0), drew with Wilmslow (2-2) and lost, to eventual champions, Culceth (4-2).
Queen's showed great character and ability in finishing overall second in the tournament. Well done girls!

Annabel in Year 10 was selected to be a ball girl at Liverpool Ladies v Yeovil Town together with some other U15s from her club AFC Waverton.

Sisters Martha and Imogen travelled to Northern Ireland to compete in the Celtic Games recently.
Martha ran for the Wales Seniors (U23s) coming 44th out of 133 despite being one of the youngest at 17. To demonstrate the quality of the field, the race winner was Kipkemboi from Kenya who came 5th in the World Championships last year!
Imogen also ran an excellent race for Deeside AAC in the U15s, coming an impressive 19th.
Well done to both girls for demonstrating such talent, drive and dedication!

Anokhi in Year 4 travelled to Newcastle in the Christmas holidays as part of the Cheshire Badminton team for the weekend-long Anglo Scottish under 12s tournament. Despite being one of the youngest players from the eight counties taking part, Anokhi won her mixed doubles in a match that went to an exciting tie break in the third game against Lanarkshire. Anokhi also won her girls doubles matches against Lothian 15-8 and 15-9. Well done Anokhi!

Nothing encapsulates our motto #enjoythechallenge more than this: Bethan aged 9 (Year 4) achieved her Level 3 NICAS climbing qualification (usually part of a GCSE) involving bouldering and top ropes. She's one of the youngest to achieve this level. Congratulations Bethan!
