Sport Round-up

Inter-house Hockey and Swimming Gala

Before the Easter holidays, our Junior pupils travelled to Chester University to take part in the annual inter-house hockey competition. All girls were raring to go and determined to earn points for their house, to try and win the house cup.

The morning was filled with close matches where the girls demonstrated super ball control, dribbling past players and scoring goals. There was also some brilliant defensive play on show with increasing confidence in making a tackle and turning over the ball.

It was fantastic to see the excitement and enthusiasm from all pupils - the future of hockey at Queen's is looking very bright!

Well done to Sienna, Nivi, Bea and Mala who were awarded with the teamwork values award for their hard work, teamwork and resilience throughout the inter-house hockey competition!

Final standings:
1st - Phoenix
2nd - Unicorns
3rd - Griffins
4th - Dragons

All Lower School pupils also took part in an inter-house swimming gala. There was lots of mascot-waving as the girls cheered on their teammates.
