The Year 7 football team played in the finals of the Chester and District tournament at Bishop Heber. They started with an unlucky 2-2 draw against Blacon in which we conceded two late penalties. They followed this by avenging our only defeat of the season by beating Tarporley 2-1 and ended with a nerve-shattering win against Bishop Heber 3-2.

In a very tight tournament, they were named winners on 'goals scored' and became Chester and District champions, the first time that our year 7 team has won this event!

They now go forward to represent Chester at the county finals in the New Year.
