Hockey
An outstanding display of hockey from our U13 team in the NW qualifiers scoring 20 goals without conceding any. The girls got off to a strong start with a 1-0 win v AKS. They continued their winning form beating Greenbank 4-0, King William College 3-0 and Nelson Tomlinson 1-0. A 5-0 win over Withington and a 6-0 win over Queen's Ethelberga's in the last game made it six wins out of six and secured their place in the North Finals. Congratulations to Isabella, Cerys, Emma, Hannah, Freya, Leah, Limonee, Priya and Lola.
Our U14 hockey team were crowned Chester and District champions after another superb competition winning four out of four games against local Chester schools. The girls scored nine goals in total without conceding any. Well done Ottilie, Dora, Alys, Eve, Willow, Tallulah, Amelia, Holly, Millie, Hattie, Elinor and Ava.
Our U18 Hockey squad showed continuing improvement in the County Finals at The Grange. The girls played with great passion and attacking flair showing how much their performance has developed from the start of the season. Holly scored an incredible uncut goal against the host school, The Grange. We finished on equal points with Kings Chester and equal Goal Difference, but were placed second on the count back of one less goal scored. An outstanding performance from the girls!
Athletics
Congratulations to our Year 7 and 8 Sportshall athletics teams who competed at Ellesmere Port in the Cheshire County Finals this week.
Year 7 were overall winners and crowned Cheshire Champions. Congratulations to Year 7 team, Abi, Alexa, Millie, Hana, Holly, Kirsten and Lavinia.
Year 8 placed 4th in what was very close scores out of 8 teams. Well done Scarlett, Isabella, Megan, Helena, Bea, Evelyn and Olivia.
Netball
Congratulations to the U13B netball team who finished 3rd in the Chester & District tournament.
Our U12A netball team also finished 3rd in their Chester and District Tournament. A huge congratulations to all the girls who played.
