Sixth Form trip to CERN

Our physicists headed to Geneva last week to learn from the experts at CERN.

They listened to lectures delivered by experts based at the centre which helps to uncover what the universe is made of and how it works.

They discovered first-hand how researchers use their unique range of particle accelerator facilities to advance the boundaries of human knowledge and were also able to get involved in a number of exciting experiments during their trip.
