Well done to our Quest sixth formers who have now completed their volunteering and life guard courses.

For the first time this year we offered girls the chance to complete the National Indoor Lifeguard Award in our Lower School pool with a qualified instructor. These girls are now qualified to work as life guards in a public swimming pool. Well done to Katherine, Maisie, Isabel, Geraldine, Anna and Hope.

Nine girls have also completed their 10-week volunteering programme with local charity Save The Family. The girls have been helping sort donations as well as clean, tidy and decorate the houses and communal areas the charity provides for homeless families. Save The Family were impressed with the girls' hard work and leadership skills and provided them all with a reference. Congratulations Amelia, Lucy, Eira, Tanvi, Shaurya, Alexandra, Tarrika, Pranika and Annabel.

Launched in 2013, the Quest Programme aims to formalise the traditional enrichment options available to girls in Sixth Form into one cohesive programme. Through the programme we introduce girls to a range of new, interesting, useful and exciting experiences which will enhance their formal academic studies. Included in the programme are ‘study skills' sessions, which have proved invaluable in supporting A-level studies.
