Following a slow - still waking up start - in the Cheshire U13 hockey championships, the Queen's girls impressed their dominance upon every team they played.

The squad of 9 rotated, sharing roles and responsibilities with goals being shared amongst several players.

They played some awesome hockey, passing around teams to penetrate the D and were keen to set each other up in goal scoring from all angles on the pitch.

They listened to advice from the side line and various corner combinations were practised to great effect.

Coach Mrs Green said: "They were a great team of girls and a great squad who continue to be a delight to work with."

The results were as follows:

v Bishop Heber  w1-0
v Wilmslow w2-0
v Alderley Edge w4-0
v The Grange w3-0
v Tytherington w6-0
v Hartford w4-0

Semi Final:

Queen's  v  Birkenhead w6-0

Both Queen's and Wilmslow now go through to the North West Round to represent Cheshire.

Queen's were awarded over all winners due to their superior goal difference and their result against Wilmslow in the section, and crowned County Champions 2015.
