Queen's reign victorious again in annual debate

Tilly and Nikita from Year 13 were victorious in the annual King’s versus Queen’s debate.

They skilfully argued against the motion that those who do not vote should be fined, and the Chester Debating Society decided that their arguments were stronger than those of the proposition.

This Tuesday two girls will be taking part in the English Speaking Union's School's MACE competition, the oldest and largest debating competition for schools in England.
