Our annual Prize Giving ceremony this year saw us welcome alumna Ghalia Khan Wilkinson to school to speak to students about her career journey, as well as the fond memories of her time at Queen’s, where she made friendships that have lasted the test of time.
Ghalia was at Queen’s from 2004 to 2011 and went on to study a BSc Hons in Marketing Management at Lancaster University. Since then she has become a highly experienced digital marketer who has worked for large, complex organisations across multiple markets including the US, Australia, EU and UK and has done work for Lookfantastic, The Hut Group, L'Oreal, AIMIA and currently works for CLOUD NINE.
After her speech she presented the girls with their well-earned prizes ranging from Subject and House Merit Awards to bespoke awards for specific areas of achievement.
A more intimate Prize Giving was held in the afternoon for our newest alumni and parents which led into our traditional Michaelmas Supper, with a lovely meal and lots of excitement about what lies ahead.
It was lovely to also reunite with our class of 2020 who we were delighted to invite back after their event had to be cancelled last year due to COVID.
