The pupils in Year 6 and staff team have experienced a wonderful week in Paris this week. We are enormously proud of the girls. They have risen to the challenges brilliantly as they have absorbed more French language, gained confidence and learnt to build relationships further and deal with new experiences.

Two city days saw the girls visit the Arc De Triomphe, walk the length of the Champs Élysées, visit the Sacre Coeur and Montmartre and enjoy a river cruise on The Seine.

A traditional French Fromagerie proved extremely popular as pupils acclimatised to new smells and learnt about Brie!

A visit to a medieval town and a jousting showcase provided French drama and history. Our final day saw pupils work together to buy their picnic lunch from a traditional French market. A wonderful week and happy memories!
