Seven girls from The Queen's School are celebrating after securing places at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Alice Gooda (A*A*A*A), from Chester will study Medicine at Merton College, Oxford, Sian Davies (A*A*A*A), from Flintshire, will study Economics at Queen’s College Cambridge, Olivia Walker (A*AA), from Chester, will study Archaeology and Anthropology at Keble College, Oxford and Emma Leatherbarrow (AAA), from Chester will study Biochemistry at St Hugh’s College, Oxford.
Joining them will be Evelyn, Frances and Grace Whorrall-Campbell, from Kelsall, who after a year studying Art Foundation at Central St Martin’s School of Art, will be taking up their places at Pembroke College, Cambridge, Christ Church College Oxford and Newnham College, Cambridge respectively to study History.
