National Youth Theatre residency for Melody

Following an audition at half term, Melody in Year 12 was thrilled to be offered a place with the National Youth Theatre Wales 2019.

The summer residency provides first-class training in theatre production and performance and many of the alumni have gone on to star in stage and screen in the creative industries.  Matthew Rhys, Ruth Jones, Rob Brydon and Michael Sheen are just some of the people who had their earliest experiences as part of the NYTW ensemble.

The eight day programme will focus on writing, acting and all technical aspects of production and will culminate in a new performance which will be shared at the end of the residency.

Our congratulations go to Melody and we wish her all the best for the summer.
