A successful sporting week began with our U16 and Senior team playing the Isle of Man, King William College. Our U16 team won 8-2 and our Snr team won 7-1.

Saturday saw our U16 and U14 teams take on Wilmslow High School. The U16 girls drew 1-1 while it was a big win for the U14s who won 10-1 with lots of girls on the scoresheet showing a great team effort!

A great start to the National School Championships for our U13 team who competed really well and were joint winners of the Cheshire round with Wilmslow. Both schools now progress to the North West round.

On Tuesday our U16/15 hockey team played Bishop Heber where confident skills and movement of the ball meant the girls dominated play and bagged another win!

Our U11s hockey team played really well in their matches, narrowly losing 3-2 to Birkenhead before winning 4-1 against Alderley Edge

Our U10s really enjoying playing their first games against Birkenhead as well. The girls lost the first game 2-1 and then drew the second game 3-3.

Our U16 netballers are through to the second round of the new National ‘Sisters in Sport’ competition. Their first game was against Birkenhead School and ended in a fantastic 23-10 win!

It was a great afternoon for our Lower School girls who played their first netball match at Birkenhead away. Our U11A team won 7-2 while our U11B team narrowly lost 2-1. There were unfortunately two losses for the under 10s but some great play and team spirit in evidence.

An impressive 7-3 win for the U14/15 Lacrosse team against Birkenhead with some absolutely fantastic lacrosse played.

Well done to all our U9, U10 and U11 swimmers who took part in a gala at Merchant Taylor School this week. Two wins and a loss for our three teams with plenty to take away and work on.
