Mud pies and nature - the benefits of outdoor learning

podcsst

The second installment of our brand new parent podcast is here already, this time focussing on the importance and benefits of outdoor learning for young children.

Our Head of Lower School, Iona Carmody, talks about why she is so passionate about outdoor learning and why it really matters to young children.

The school podcast series aims to provide discussion and insight into a variety of topics relevant to parents across the board.

Whatever school your child attends, parents often have the same sort of queries, interests or concerns and these are the areas that our staff aim to provide their opinions and advice.

The podcast series will run fortnightly during term time. Two bonus episodes will also be released at the start and near the end of the summer break focussing on preventing summer learning loss and the transition to school and why it’s natural to have conflicting emotions.

Other topics set to be featured include futureproofing your daughter, things to consider when choosing your school and the importance of the right support for your child.

You can listen to our podcasts on Apple or Spotify using the links below and the first episode is also featured below.
