Around 60 girls from schools across Cheshire,Wirral and North Wales came along to try out a morning of fun language learning at the Lower School recently.

Girls from Year 2-5 had French lessons learning about Monsieur Bruit and made croissants and handkerchiefs inspired by France’s landmarks and cuisine.

They learnt some Mandarin characters, tried Lion Dancing, Chinese drumming and made Chinese knots and drums.

They also learnt Salsa and Mambo dance moves and made some fabulous Spanish-themed works of art.

All of the girls left having learnt a few words of each language, with a goody bag of their own handicrafts and big smiles on their faces.
