After being inspired by sisters Jessica and Katya, who last year donated their birthday money to the British Heart Foundation (BHF), pupils took part in an active fundraising event for the charity last week.

Jessica and Katya kindly donated the money in memory of their late uncle and the close association with this particular charity led the school to benefit from a fabulous resource pack which has provided skipping ropes and challenges for pupils in Key Stage Two as part of the BHF's Jump Rope for Heart initiative. By way of support for this charity Total Fitness Gym also donated some wonderful raffle prizes for parents to enjoy.

The raffle was drawn during the QPSA coffee morning and the girls were then were tasked with taking part in a skipping and fitness session with personal trainers from Total Fitness. They were certainly put through their paces!

We would like to pass on our thanks to everyone that bought a raffle ticket and helped to raise £445 for the British Heart Foundation.
