The whole of Lower School came together to support Jeans for Genes day with girls coming to school in their own clothes in exchange for a donation to the charity.

Isobel in Year 3 had asked the school to support the annual charity event last term and put together a PowerPoint that was shared in assembly.

Jeans for Genes Day is the annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK, the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a genetic disorder. Monies raised on Jeans for Genes Day fund the work of the charity and provide grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.

A cake sale was also held at playtime to support the charity. Well done to Isobel and all Year 3 pupils and parents for joining together to make today such a success.
