Inspiring women for World Book Day

We saw some fantastic costumes from everyone at the Lower School for World Book Day themed around Inspirational Women to tie in with International Women’s Day.

The girls spent the day learning about all different inspirational women and everyone learnt a thing or two, including the staff!

In Year 5 Veronica brought in photos of her great, great grandmother who flew planes which the girls found very inspirational! Kera told her class about the Nobel Prize winner Tu Youyou.

In PSHE the girls discussed the theme 'Who am I and where am I going?' The girls used the stories of the inspirational women they are dressed as today to think about their own passions and where those passions might lead them in the future.
