Lower School girls enjoyed a highly informative insight into the world of criminal law from Steve Riordan, who has been a practising barrister and QC for over 40 years.

He talked to the girls about the courtroom, the role of a judge and jury, women in law and the route to becoming a barrister.

He also talked to the girls about tradition within the courtroom and the wearing of a wig, collar and robe.

The girls asked some searching and intelligent questions and have been inspired to find out more about a career in law.
