I think we are alone

The Drama Department hot footed it to the Liverpool Playhouse recently for a performance of ‘I think we are alone’ by Frantic Assembly.

Girls from Years 9-13 were treated to a mesmerising, moving and uplifting performance by this leading contemporary theatre practitioner. Using full-size perspex frames, as walls that moved to create different spaces, the six actors explored the lives of individual Londoners whose stories eventually entwined together.

Exploring the themes of love, loss and forgiveness, this was a thought provoking, sometimes sad and often funny production that all the girls came out of the theatre talking about. They were so busy chatting, the girls were lucky enough to bump into some of the cast in the foyer, pictured with Andrew Turner who played Graham and Chizzy Akudolu (from Strictly Come Dancing and Casualty) who played Josie.

An amazing piece of theatre!
