Congratulations to our very own lacrosse teacher Miss Lytollis for being selected for the English Lacrosse World Cup training squad. She has an impressive career so far, representing England in two Australian and USA lacrosse tours so will be ready for the challenge again and we wish her the best of luck.

Following in her footsteps we are also feeling very proud for Emily in Year 11 who has been picked for the North of England Lacrosse A team following trials recently.

And former lacrosse Metros captain Year 11 pupil Dakota has not only been selected to play for Wales U19s in the upcoming Home Internationals being held in April but has also been selected for the Wales World Cup Training squad in preparation for the Lacrosse World Cup in July.

Well done to them all!

Miss Lytollis said: "I am delighted to have been selected for the England World Cup training squad which is preparing for this summer's World Championships in Surrey and I am looking forward to the tour to the USA next month which will give us all the chance to stake our claims for selection for the final team for the summer."
