Hockey
Congratulations to our U13 hockey team who were thrilled to be gold medallists at the Packwood Haugh School U13 Invitation hockey tournament. The competition involved 12 schools and the girls were outstanding, in particular in the final v Sedbergh, which they won 4-0! Well done Issy, Cerys, Emma, Hannah, Freya, Leah, Limonee, Lola and Priya.
Well done to our U16 girls who have safely qualified for the Cheshire County Final in March. 8 goals for, 0 against with strong support play within the team!
We are very proud of our U18 and u16 hockey teams this week - to be drawn against Repton in both age groups was a big challenge which the girls rose to and were ready to take on. They all stuck to the game plan to make it difficult but unfortunately it wasn’t quite enough. Excellent play though girls, well done.
Gymnastics
A very successful weekend of gymnastics for Evelyn in Year 8 who won her first British individual medal!
At the Challenge Cup she competed as a first year Espoir and did fantastic routines on all four pieces with only one small mistake on beam.
She placed 5th All Around out of 50 gymnasts from throughout the UK.
She also gained a silver medal for her bar routine and placed 8th on vault. The next day she competed as part of the North West Team and performed a beautiful beam routine achieving a personal best score.
