We were absolutely thrilled this week to receive a call from The National Gallery in London in response to our submission of creative work for the Take One Picture initiative.

'Take One Picture' is the National Gallery's countrywide scheme for primary schools. Each year the Gallery focuses on one painting from the collection to inspire cross-curricular work in primary classrooms. The challenge is for schools to use the image imaginatively in the classroom, both as a stimulus for artwork, and for work in more unexpected curriculum areas.

The National Gallery then displays a selection of the work in the annual 'Take One Picture' exhibition in the summer.

The Gallery was impressed by the wide range of work that we submitted based upon Mr and Mrs Andrews by Thomas Gainsborough and have requested a selection to exhibit. .
