Sixth Formers were encouraged to help younger pupils boost their academic achievement during a visit from Yipiyap Education this week.
Yipiyap employs high performing students with excellent communication skills as tutors in schools after they have finished their A-levels. Representatives Catherine Birkett and Alan Harper called in to promote gap year opportunities with the organisation to our girls.
Alan said: "The idea is that they get some well paid work which can be 'gold dust' for their CV. We also invest a lot of time in increasing the skill sets of the students we employ and this again can be really useful when it comes to university or job applications afterwards.”

Queen's alumna Jessica, who completed science A-levels last year, is already working with the company which supplies tutors to a range of different schools across North Wales and the North West.
