Queen's has enjoyed outstanding success in a number of different sports over the last few weeks.

Well done to our Year 8 and 9 footballers who won the Chester and District Tournament , beating Upton, Christleton and Blacon 1-0 and Abbeygate 5-0. In the same week, our senior netball team won a silver medal at the U19 netball tournament.

We secured a double at the ESSA swimming championships on Friday, September 30. A record number of girls competed in the event, with Queen's being the only school to field three teams. The Junior medley swimmers secured the silver medal first, shortly followed by the senior medley team who also got the silver spot. We now wait anxiously to hear if they have made it to the finals. Amazing, girls!

In tennis, Year 10 tennis players who won the AEGON Tennis Championships in Leeds, beating schools from across the North of England to secure the championship title.

And finally congratulations to our Year 9 and Year 10 hockey teams for beating the Isle of Man 6-0 and 2-1 respectively on last week. Our U16 hockey team are also now Cheshire Champions and will go on to compete in the North West round.
