Year 6 had a tremendous week exploring the north coast of France with a jam-packed itinerary. From visiting a Boulangerie, sampling the cuisine and enjoying the local culture, to live reporting on Dee 106.3 from a goat shed, the girls certainly experienced a variety of fun activities.

The trip included visiting an arts centre where the girls enjoyed lino-cutting and printing, quiet reflection at Étaples Military Cemetery, shopping at the markets and of course a visit to the beach.

They couldn't go to France without trying out the local food, and there were mixed reactions to holding, stroking and then eating snails, as well as sampling goats’ cheese at the goat farm!

Caroline in Year 6 spoke to Gavin Matthews live on Dee 106.3 school call giving an overview of what they had done and had planned for their visit and the week also included the special celebration of Tia's birthday and she looked very pleased with her cake! Welcome back Year 6!
