Girls have been taking part in lots of activities off site over the past week or so.

Year 10 had just returned from the challenges of their D of E Silver weekend, but typically they threw themselves into the dance day at Studio 25 in Manchester, where they learnt salsa, jazz and commercial routines.

Other girls enjoyed travelling on the tram up the Great Orme and exploring the narrow tunnels of the copper mines. After a picnic lunch they enjoyed a brief visit to the pier.

Year 9 visited The Royal Exchange in Manchester. They experienced a tour of the theatre, a visit to the costume department and a drama workshop.

Girls from Years 12 and 10 celebrated National Potting Shed Week with residents from Upton Dene Care Home. The Upton Dene residents were delighted to have our girls there to help make hanging baskets and paint multi coloured plant pots to add some colour to their garden this summer.
