A wonderful trip for Year 2 saw them spend a morning at Chester Cathedral, followed by an afternoon at the Falconry Centre next door.

In the morning the girls dressed up as monks and learned how the monks lived in the cathedral (then a monastery) 1,000 years ago.

In the afternoon they watched in awe as a falcon swooped low over their heads. They also got the chance to hold a bird of prey and observe it at close quarters.

Certainly a day to remember!
