The Daffodil Service signals that Spring has arrived for many of our pupils as they gather to give thanks and rejoice Easter at Chester Cathedral.

Girls from the Lower School and their families throughly enjoy this special service which is held specifically for them.

Daffodils were placed on the cross, they sang hymns and girls read aloud and performed some exceptionally good solos.

There was a special treat for those gathered too, when the Young Voices choir performed two songs which will later this year be heard on BBC TV in the Choir of the Year competition (April 26th).

The daffodils this year were provided by Mr and Mrs Banks and we are extremely grateful to them for their assistance.
