On Wednesday, Year 6 travelled to the Crucial Crew Child-Safety Event at Fox Barracks for a very busy morning of interactive workshops.

Topics covered included e-safety, road safety, fire safety, health and well-being, Fitness for life and dealing with peer pressure. The girls learned several important lessons: that it is dangerous to leave electrical items on charge overnight as they might start a fire; that you have to be 13 to use social media and that to call the police in a non-emergency situation you should call 101 not 999.

The girls behaved impeccably as they absorbed these vital messages and left the session full of practical tips and information to make their day-to-day life safer.
