Our pupils have started learning all about the Chinese Year of the Rooster 2017 through a variety of activities in lessons and extracurricular time.

In addition to our usual Mandarin lessons, Infant pupils have taken part in some special Chinese activities including a Chinese dance workshop that visited school to teach the girls how to perform a Chinese dragon dance.

Over the next three weeks Reception and Year 3 will be making lanterns, learning the Chinese New Year Zodiac story and the names of the animals, as well as learning the art of Chinese craft.
