Photographs taken on the recent trip to China have won two school girls prizes in a national competition.

Two Senior School girls entered into the IOE Confucius Institute’s Young Photographers’ Competition after their school trip this summer.

They found out this week that both girls won prizes.

Year 10 pupil Eleanor won the ‘Impressions’ Portfolio Photograph category and Sophia was runner-up in the ‘Unexpected China’ single photograph competition with her picture.

Eleanor receives £200 of Amazon vouchers and Sophia £50 of vouchers. Both girls will now see their work displayed at the Institute of Education in Central London.
