New cadet recruits braved the freezing January weather to take part in their first Camp experience. Along with the older cadet helpers they all took over barrack accommodation at Nesscliffe Army Training Camp and the recruits were handed their uniforms.

After a welcome hot meal in the Cookhouse and general admin duties completed, warm sleeping bags awaited! The next 2 days saw the cadets take part in leadership tasks and also the opportunity to fire not only the cadet rifle, the no. 8 rifle, but also the DCCT indoor range rifles. Staff Instructors were very impressed by the level of competency so a well done to all!
