Our annual Cabaret nights, presented by the Music and Drama Departments, were again a huge success.

The shows had something for everyone; from rock and pop to classical, jazz and folk music, and a range of vignettes, dramatic scenes and dance performances.

Mrs Larder commented: "I know why I so enjoy teaching at Queen's when I watch the amazing talent of our pupils performing in Cabaret. We have been entertained and amazed by them all."

And Mrs Clark added: "The range and quality of talent we have here is exceptional. It is humbling to see a girl absolutely in her element, at ease centre stage, doing what she loves so brilliantly.

"For me Cabaret has another purpose too - one which embodies everything that Queen's is about. It is the best arena I have ever known to encourage girls to get up and have a go, to enjoy taking a few risks, to try new things and experience the thrill of performance in a safe environment where they know their friends and family will applaud and wish them well.

"I am enormously proud that every year the Music and Drama Departments achieve this."
