Congratulations to Katie and Zara in Year 5 who attended workshops last weekend run by the organisers of AmaSing, with children from 30 other primary schools.
Katie took part in a dance workshop run by House of Dance, putting together a themed performance which was filmed for the AmaSing event at Storyhouse in March.
Zara worked with other children in a drama workshop to produce a piece which will be shown with one of the songs specifically written for Dementia UK.
33 girls from Year 5 and Year 6 will be taking part in this year’s AmaSing event and are already hard at work. They are learning a wide variety of songs, some specially written for the charities supported by AmaSing, as well as a song medley from The Greatest Showman and a Palm Oil Conga to raise awareness of environmental issues.
