A violin, a tuba, a flute and a voice delighted the audience on Friday, May 6, at The Queen’s School’s first-ever alumni concert, arranged by Ruth Hoare ’14 to raise funds for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain’s tour to the People’s Republic of China in August 2016.

The classical repertoire was of a wonderful standard with pieces by composers ranging from Mozart to Gershwin to Golland, and was complemented by delicious light refreshments in the interval. A very pleasant evening was had by all, which we hope to repeat in the future.
