45 members of the Junior Choir sang the Commonwealth Anthem at Chester Racecourse for the opening of the Business and Commonwealth Event.

The girls performed beautifully despite the added pressure of singing in the presence of HRH The Earl of Wessex KG GCVO.

Deputy Chief Executive of Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership Mark Livesey helped organise the event and described the girls as magnificent. He said: "I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing performance from the girls. The Choir were immaculate and a complete credit to Queen's. There was a huge buzz after the performance and so many people came up to me during the afternoon to say how much they had enjoyed the anthem.  HRH thoroughly enjoyed the performance.”
