Lower School pupils enjoyed performing and reciting their favourite poems as part of the school's annual Poetry Competition.

Junior pupils from Years 3-6 represented their houses with pride before a panel of judges during the competition.

The event was hosted at the Senior School and saw parents, grandparents and friends in the audience.

The eventual winners were Unicorns.

Lower School Headmistress Mrs Cookson said: “There were some hilarious poems about teachers, brothers, grannies and aunts which brought fun and laughter. Alongside these we also saw some spooky and dramatic recitals which brought mystery and suspense! A huge well done to all the pupils. The final scores were so close and everyone should feel very proud.”
