What an amazing afternoon! A near record-breaking number of former pupils returned to Queen's on the traditional first Saturday in July for the Annual Summer Reunion.

Large groups from 1965 and 1970 were fantastically organised by Judith Allinson (Reid) and Valda McDonald (Bridges) respectively but 1969 leavers also put in a strong showing, and everyone was delighted by the appearance of Miss Elinor Edwards (Staff '88.) Even a 1989 leaver who happened to be on the City Walls with her family got dragged into the celebration and enjoyed a mini-tour of the main building and Art Room!

The two-course lunch was delicious, wine and memories flowed, and cameras went into overdrive as old friends and classmates met and recognised each other. The sun shone (as it always seems to on this date) and tours of the school buildings, including the new Sports and Fitness Centre, only added to the overall experience.
